About David
Born and raised in Arkansas, David achieved his undergraduate
degree in Mathematics and Economics from Hendrix College and
pursued graduate studies at the University of Arkansas where
he received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations
Research.
After a brief career teaching at Oklahoma State University,
David moved to the Dallas area in 1975 to work for Sun Oil

After several
years, he became a consultant with Deloitte Haskins &
Sells, and later with SHL Systemhouse. In 1993, David

earning merit badges, and volunteering in fundraising activities,
including construction and production of their annual haunted
house.
Elected to the Town Council in 2006, David has
been selected mayor pro tem by his peers in 2006 and 2007.
